Social Responsibility

Opportunity, made fair

RANT exists to make opportunity depend on what a person can do — not on who they know, where they live, or what they can pay. That mission carries responsibilities we take seriously.

01

Equitable access

Talent is distributed evenly; opportunity is not. RANT is built to reach users in cities, towns, and rural communities alike, on the devices and connections they already have. The core Passport is free for users, so that the ability to prove one's skills is never behind a paywall.

A young person in a rural community deserves the same quality of verified record as anyone in the capital. That principle guides every design decision.

02

Local economic impact

RANT is grounded in Ghana and built for the communities it serves. By connecting TVET institutions, employers, and directorates around a shared record, the platform helps local talent stay visible to local opportunity — and helps local employers find verified people close to them.

Every placement made through evidence, rather than guesswork, strengthens the local economy and builds a workforce that can be trusted at scale.

03

Data ethics and user empowerment

A person's record is their own. RANT collects only what is needed to verify identity, skills, and employability — and gives users genuine control over who sees it. Consent is explicit, withdrawable, and logged. Data is never sold.

We treat data not as an asset to be exploited, but as a trust to be protected. Read more in our Trust Centre.

04

Safeguarding

Many users on RANT are young people early in their working lives. We design with safeguarding in mind: verified employer onboarding, controlled visibility of personal contact details, moderation of workplace assessments, and clear routes to raise a concern or dispute.

No system is perfect, but every reasonable measure is taken so that the platform is a safe place to build and share a professional record.

05

Responsible partnerships

RANT works with schools, employers, government, and directorates. We choose and onboard partners who share a commitment to genuine opportunity and honest representation of skill. Employers are verified before they can act, and their contributions to a user's record are accountable and reviewable.

Partnerships are formed to serve users — never the other way around.
